Prince Edward Island is named for Prince Edward Augustus, who was the father of Queen Victoria. It is one of the four Atlantic provinces of Canada and is home to only 140,000 people. P.E.I is known for its potato farming and natural beauty, including its 800 km of beaches. Its charming display features gorgeous landscapes and vast golf courses that entice a great number of visitors each year.

Over the years, there have been many changes to the island, but many elements have remained constant since the time P.E.I joined Canada, with many residents living in rural communities that still have a traditional feeling.

Framed by a sleek red merrow frame are two major elements against a red background within this embroidered patch. An extravagant lion is embellished at the top part of the shield to represent England. The lower portion displays three oak saplings which represent the Island’s three counties; they rest beneath a mature Oak tree that originally represented Great Britain. This patch is embroidered with a computer-generated system for precise stitching.

Choose from four different types of backing to suit your preferences. Show your honored heritage of P.E.I and wear the embroidered Prince Edward Island Coat of Arms proudly among your clothes, bags, and hats.
